Make Obedience Your Default
We have walked through all five phases together this week. Stillness. Discernment. Stewardship. Obedience. And now this: Rhythm.
Rhythm is what holds the other four in place.
Here is the pattern most people fall into. They hear God when things get hard. They press into stillness when the situation is already urgent. They seek discernment after they have already made three moves they need to undo. And then they wonder why the voice feels distant and the clarity feels thin.
The voice is not distant. The practice is.
When you build rhythm into your daily life, every other phase accelerates. Stillness becomes familiar instead of forced. Discernment sharpens because you have logged enough signals to recognize them faster. Stewardship becomes instinct. And obedience, the step that costs the most when you are out of practice, starts to feel like your natural first response.
Here is the daily rhythm I want you to build:
Morning: Come with one question. Sit in silence. Write what surfaces.
Midday: Pause for two minutes. Check your peace level. Are you still operating in alignment with what you received this morning?
Evening: Name one place you obeyed today. Name one place you did not. No shame. Just honesty. That is how the practice gets sharper.
Three touchpoints. Daily. That is the whole thing.
What God has for you is for you. His grace covers the delays you have already walked through. And starting today, you have a system that positions you to hear Him clearly and move quickly the next time He speaks.
Thank you for walking through this series with me. If you want the full guide that covers all five phases, comment OBEY below or reply to this post, and I will get it to you.
